What is a Virtual Server?
A virtual server is a computer residing in a remote location that is connected to the Internet for the sole purpose of distributing data to requesting clients around the world.
Simply stated, it is a computer that is used to store all information that is to be accessed via the Internet. It is a "server" because other computers request information from it, and it is "virtual" because the client does not have physical access to it.

What is Virtual Hosting?
A virtual host is someone who has a virtual server and hosts your pages on their server. Your pages can be virtually hosted with or without your own domain name. This is a less costly alternative to having your own server or virtual server.
